UK ESL Contest: Final Results

The UK round of the ESL went off without a hitch at the weekend. The final was held at dusk, with just enough light left to finish the contest off in one day!
After much worrying about the conditions, the waves co-operated and so did the weather. Competitors were blessed with blue skies and 2-3ft waves with plenty of sidewash to provide long rides across the beach.
The winner this year was Hugo Santos, who cements his domination of this years ESL by making it 3 wins out of 3 events.
Second position went to Tristan Lamy of France, with Mega coming in 3rd. Hugo’s brother Goncalo Santos came in 4th.
Best UK rider was Ned Weight, with a respectful 8th position.
